Job Summary:
- Provide support and assistance to residents/patients/clients in residential and community settings.
- Work in a casual community-based home care position, traveling between multiple locations in and around various suburbs.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, promoting independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and support.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centered care, respecting clients' autonomy and dignity.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring clients' nutritional needs are met.
- Support clients with mobility and transfer needs, promoting safe and efficient movement.
- Engage in activities that promote social interaction, mental stimulation, and emotional well-being.
Requirements:
- Experience working in aged care or disability support.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
