**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, build, and deploy the next generation of our data lake, leveraging the latest technologies to manage and scale data.
- Prove concept and value for pipeline patterns on new data types and sources, utilizing cloud databases, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Engineer systems to manage big data compute tasks, ensuring robustness and self-healing as an integral part of the platform design.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline operational failures, utilizing data streaming products such as Kafka and Kinesis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement platform monitoring, data DevOps, and data-as-code design.
**Requirements:**
- Experience with databases, including cloud databases, relational databases, and NoSQL databases (e.g. Databricks, Redshift, Postgres, SQL Server, MongoDB).
- Experience building and creating data pipelines using Python and SQL, preferably with Databricks Delta Live Tables or similar.
- Experience with data streaming products such as Kafka and Kinesis.
- Experience with Git and cloud platform deployment (AWS preferred).
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
