Job Description

We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated professionals to join our operations team as Charge Up Operators. In this key role, you will play a vital part in shaping the future of gold mining in Western Australia.

The Role Includes:
  • Efficient Charging Practices: Safely operate machinery to charge development headings and production stopes, ensuring efficient and effective mining practices.
  • Explosive Materials Management: Manage explosive materials with precision and care, adhering to strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Team Collaboration and Workload Management: Work closely with the team to meet production targets, share knowledge, and support colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as requested by the Supervisor, contributing to the success of the operation.

Requirements:

  • Preferred Experience: Previous experience working underground is preferred.
  • DYNO Emulsion Expertise: Familiarity with DYNO Emulsion is an advantage.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a WA Shot Firers license and be willing to apply for a DGSC (Dangerous Goods Security Certificate).
  • Transportation: Possess a manual driver's license and the right to work in a permanent role in Australia.
  • Safety Culture: Demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to safety principles, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Criminal History Clearance: Obtain a National Police Clearance within 12 months.
