We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our Corporate Advisory team, who is passionate about working on high-profile and technically challenging transactions. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex M&A and equity capital markets transactions.

You will be working closely with our market-leading M&A partners, advising on takeover bids, schemes of arrangement, cross-border M&A, joint ventures, equity capital raisings, corporate governance advice, and Takeovers Panel matters. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8-12 years of experience working in an M&A or Corporate Advisory practice
  • Expertise in private M&A, public M&A, ECM, private equity, and Corporations Act advice
  • Ambition to work on challenging matters at the top of the market
  • Strong drafting and advice writing skills
  • Superior analytical skills
  • A track record of working with, mentoring, and supporting younger team members
  • The ability to work effectively with clients
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • A desire to learn, develop, and progress quickly
