Lifestyle Support Worker Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to support people living with disabilities in their homes and within the community.

The role involves providing personal care and household support, assisting clients with daily tasks such as showering, dressing, and medication administration.

Duties may include:

  • Providing personal care assistance including showering, dressing, and hygiene needs
  • Assisting with domestic support and household tasks
  • Supporting with meal preparation and assistive technology
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and grocery shopping
  • Following and adhering to Positive Behaviour Support Plans for individuals

Mandatory requirements include:

  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • A current CPR certificate
  • A National Police Check
  • A current Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
  • A Disability Services Positive Exemption Card (yellow card)
  • A current Australian Driver's License
  • A vehicle with comprehensive car insurance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support/Aged Care or equivalent experience working with challenging behaviors, manual handling training, and administration of medication training.

This is a casual position available for Single, 12 & 24 hour shifts across the Ipswich and South Brisbane Region. Flexibility and availability are key as some rosters include weekends and active awake shifts.
