Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Assistant Director, Vetting Authority. The successful candidate will lead a team of vetting assessors and administrative staff responsible for initial caseload triage and assessment, as well as coordinating vetting functions including the use of service providers, contractors and consultants.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior leader to join our organization and contribute to the ongoing strategic growth of the Vetting Authority with a focus on continuous improvement, project management and delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A strong background in security vetting and personnel security risk management
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly developed attention to detail, discretion and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build capability and lead teams to deliver against Organisational goals
  • Ability to communicate with influence and build productive working relationships
