Are you a team player who loves working with children? We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our team as a Kids Club Assistant during peak periods.
The role involves assisting park management with the operation of the Kids Club, working with small groups of children and guests, planning and delivering kids club activities over the busy school holiday period. Your focus will be on providing exceptional customer service to our guests and their children, ensuring they have a memorable stay at our resort.
About You- You will be someone who is able to prioritise your workload to achieve daily outcomes while also understanding the bigger picture for the rest of the team.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with children.
- Ability to forward-plan, ensuring the correct equipment is available and on hand for kids club sessions.
- Proven and demonstrated experience in working with and developing relationships with a diverse customer base.
- Willingness to complete general cleaning and administration tasks as required.
- Flexible attitude to hours, including weekends and on short notice.
- Working With Children Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Candidates must consent to a Federal Police Clearance for criminal records before receiving a job offer. Additionally, a valid Working with Children's Check specific to the state may be required.
- This role may involve extensive manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 20kg, kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery.
