This is a unique chance to become part of a multidisciplinary team in a vibrant and remote community. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals from diverse backgrounds to overcome health challenges.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist who can provide clinical care and health promotion activities within our primary health care clinics. The successful applicant will work with a multidisciplinary team across programs, providing both clinical care and health promotion activities.

  • Deliver prevention and education programs
  • Perform health assessments
  • Clinical Service Provision: Clinic based and home visits
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A tertiary degree (or equivalent qualification) in Psychology
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHRPA)
  • Experience in providing assessment, intervention, and case management in various settings
  • An understanding of the health issues impacting the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and a strong commitment to improving health outcomes
