Rural Medical Registrar Opportunity

Bairnsdale Regional Health Service is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Registrar to join our team in a rural training program. This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to gain significant skills and experience in a broad spectrum of medical conditions and post-operative care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality assessment and care to inpatients with a broad range of low and high acuity medical patients in conjunction with the multidisciplinary health team.
- Work closely with the staff Physicians, local GP VMO's, GP Anaesthetists, and a variety of VMO Specialists and Rural Generalists to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in the Registrar training program, which will enable you to rapidly progress your capabilities and career.
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)
- Eligibility for General Registration with minimum level 3 supervision and if requested a PESCI pass rate
- Minimum 3 years of postgraduate experience in clinical medicine, including extensive experience in General and/or Internal Medicine setting.
- AMC parts 1 and 2 passed
- Competence in advanced life support techniques
- A comprehensive remuneration package dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience commencing at $125,900 per annum.
