Lead Mental Health and Wellbeing Specialist

We are seeking a Mental Health and Wellbeing Leader to support our student wellbeing program. This role is responsible for enhancing the capacity and capability of teachers in mental health literacy, supporting teachers to refer students internally, and driving new initiatives.
- Design and embed a wellbeing program for the classroom.
- Support teachers to know when and how to refer students internally.
- Drive new mental health and wellbeing initiatives.
The successful candidate will receive training in mental health literacy, supporting emerging needs, and building school capacity.
Key Requirements- A qualified teacher with current registration.
- Demonstrated ability to inform and influence others involved in engagement, mental health, wellbeing or learning.
- Experience supporting a student's mental health, wellbeing or learning by developing connections with external services.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current First Aid qualifications or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Commitment to Christian education values.
