Android Software Engineering Role

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to the development and improvement of infra tooling for Android mainline modules.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and enhance critical infra tooling for Android mainline modules.
- Create solutions to improve the Android developer experience in the Android and Google toolchain.
- Collaborate with Android module teams to define quality standards and scale them across the ecosystem.
- Resolve Android launch blockers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Android companies to enhance Android module quality beyond Google's product line.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least one year of software development experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- One year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- In-depth understanding of mobile operating systems from both a technical and business perspective.
- Familiarity with developments in the mobile industry.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with external partners, particularly in the APAC region.
