About Our Centre Cook Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Centre Cook to join our team. As a Centre Cook, you will play a crucial role in shaping the daily experiences of children by providing delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meals that cater to special dietary requirements and allergies while ensuring the safety of children.
  • Use your creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety through hygienic storage, handling, and preparation of food and drinks.
  • Work a part-time roster of 30 hours per week.

About Our Centre

The centre has 90 places and operates from 6:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday. We have a dedicated team of educators, including four Early Childhood Teachers, and actively engage with the community through various events.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
