Job Description

You're a skilled plumbing professional with hands-on experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.

With expertise in water distribution, you're adept at troubleshooting and addressing complex plumbing issues.

Known for your problem-solving skills and professionalism, you work effectively both independently and as part of a team to support critical infrastructure.

As a Journeyman Plumber, your duties will include:

  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
  • Follow building plans and blueprints.
  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
  • Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.

Requirements:

  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must have a US TS/SCI clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of plumbing experience.
  • Must have a US Secret or AUS NV-1 clearance.
  • Must have a Journeyman Plumbing license or AUS equivalent.
  • Must have a Backflow Prevention Inspector Certification.
  • Strong understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
  • Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
  • Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
