About the Lecturer Role

The primary objective of this lecturer position is to deliver teaching and learning programs, conduct assessments, provide mentorship, and undertake professional activities in accordance with relevant curriculum requirements.

Effective lecturers maintain a high level of expertise within their field through ongoing professional development. They are expected to disseminate up-to-date information and guidance to students, the college, and industry stakeholders where appropriate.

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a trade qualification relating to heavy commercial mechanical or mobile plant operations. A minimum of five years' experience in vocational education or lecturing, coupled with an ability to facilitate student learning, is also essential.
