Job Title:
Water System Engineer - Public Wastewater Facilities

As a Water System Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing the construction and operation of public wastewater facilities to ensure compliance with statutes, policies, and regulations. This position involves working closely with facilities to provide engineering project management for complex projects. You will conduct assessments to determine the optimal performance levels of water systems in planning, design, capacity, construction management, operations, maintenance, and financing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze public wastewater facilities for compliance with regulations.
  • Provide engineering project management for complex projects.
  • Conduct assessments to determine optimal performance levels of water systems.
  • Work closely with facilities to ensure effective management of water systems.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental or civil engineering, or a related field.
  • Licensed professional engineer as required by law.
  • Education and experience requirements as described by relevant legislation.
  • Preferred related work experience in permitting, design, or review of engineering plans and specifications.
