Geotechnical professionals are sought after for the design and development of geotechnical projects, specifically tailings dams. As a key contributor to our team, you will lead the creation of geotechnical designs, using your expertise in civil/geotechnical engineering and numerical modeling.Key Responsibilities:
  • Civil/geotechnical/tailings dam design
  • Geotechnical analyses using various software packages
  • Tailing deposition modeling with specialized software (Muk3D)
  • Site characterization, including environmental assessments
  • Development and management of instrumentation systems
  • Project planning and proposal support
  • Preparation of reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering (required)
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Professional registration preferred
  • Engineer of Record required
Desirable Skills:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, 10+ years preferred
  • Proficiency with geotechnical software packages
  • Knowledge of numerical modeling techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fieldwork and travel readiness
