Job Opportunity

A dynamic Hospital Coordinator position is now available, offering the chance to lead nursing and animal attendant teams in driving hospital-wide success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Clinical Leadership:
    • Conduct daily hospital rounds and morning huddles from Monday to Friday.
    • Collaborate with senior nursing leaders and department heads to achieve optimal outcomes.
    • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for predictable care delivery.
    • Work closely with the Clinical Director to align care delivery with our medical identity.
    • Promote a consistent approach to care methodologies across all ARH sites.
  • Team Management & Development:
    • Recruit, induct, develop, and retain nursing talent through structured career planning.
    • Foster a high-performing team culture that encourages collaboration and growth.
    • Resource & Workflow Planning: Create and manage a master roster aligned with budget forecasts.
    • Balance resources across departments to meet changing demands effectively.
    • Manage referral coordination directly or through delegation as required.
    • Collaborate with Radiographer, Anaesthetist, and other departments to optimize workflow.
  • Policy & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and legal requirements at all times.
    • Contribute to policy development and procedural improvements to enhance overall performance.
    • Communication & Problem Solving: Support team members in problem-solving and change implementation.
    • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality across all interactions with staff, patients, and families.
About You

You're a confident, collaborative leader with a strong background in clinical and team management. You thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about delivering consistent, high-quality care.

  • Hold veterinary nursing qualifications or a veterinary degree.
  • Have experience in hospital coordination or team leadership in a Specialist Hospital, which is essential for this role.
  • Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills to excel in this position.
