Seeking a Supportive Caregiver for 14 Year Old with Special Needs

The ideal candidate will provide engaging and fun activities at home, attend to care needs including toileting and tube feeding, and assist with evening routine and showering. We will provide training if the applicant is not familiar with tube feeding.

Key responsibilities include providing one-on-one support and care, managing daily routines, and participating in activities tailored to the young man's interests.

Requirements:

  • Experience in special needs care is highly desirable
  • Ability to provide flexible and reliable support

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in special education or allied health
  • Availability to work beyond January, particularly during school terms

Working Hours:

10am-1pm (Monday to Friday) and 6pm-9pm (some evenings), plus Saturday and Sunday mornings during school terms
