**Counsellor Position Summary**

As a Counsellor with our organisation, you will be part of a dedicated team working to support individuals and families through collaborative practices that are trauma-informed, evidence-based, and psycho-educational.

The role involves providing counselling, support, and specialist group programs to clients from diverse backgrounds. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Counsellor who is experienced in working with men and facilitating Men's Behaviour Change Programs.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Provide individual and group counselling sessions to clients with varying needs and circumstances.
  • Facilitate group programs aimed at promoting positive change and addressing abusive behaviours.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

**What You'll Need:**

  • Tertiary qualifications in human services or equivalent experience.
  • Clinical membership of a relevant professional body.
  • Experience working with men and facilitating Men's Behaviour Change Programs.
  • Skills in trauma-informed practice, domestic and family violence prevention, and culturally responsive care.
