We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team working on a large infrastructure project in remote NSW. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of underground concrete structures and associated civil works.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret specifications, draft and maintain drawings and plans, construction methods and procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of the scope of work, specifications, work plans and drawings and advise on best engineering solutions to meet project needs and budget.
- Create work programs for allocated work packages.
- Manage in conjunction with the wider team, the scope of work, equipment and materials, and ensure compliance.
- Identify variations in work packages and submit list for review.
- Ensure the requirements of the quality management plan are effectively implemented to meet project requirements.
- Ensure familiarity of team members with the quality assurance manual, procedures, ITPs, test methods & reporting requirements.
- Prepare and review internal ITPs, forms & checklists for approval by Client.
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Post Graduate qualifications advantageous). Demonstrated experience working in a FIFO capacity preferred with a Contractor. Underground concrete structures specialist with experience on concrete tunnel lining projects is a MUST. Experience with tunnel lining using DOKA or TFI travelling formwork systems. Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring project teams. Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
