Job Opportunity for a Skilled Tradesperson

Same Day Granny Flats is a leading provider of housing solutions, with over 30 years of industry experience and a strong presence in Australia.

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to join our team as a factory worker and handyman. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including trailer painting, construction, wiring, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of container homes for delivery.
  • Perform general factory work, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct handyman work on expander home units in the factory and throughout the Central Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, and Hunter region.

Requirements:

  • Proven skills and experience in a trade-related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements within a factory environment.
  • Basic mechanical skills and knowledge of tools.
  • Driver's license and work authorization in Australia.

Working Conditions:

  • 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday.
  • 40 hours per week.

Compensation: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
