Urgent Care Nursing Professional

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Nurse to join our Urgent Care team.
Main Responsibilities
- Triage patients by performing comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments, identifying their needs and prioritizing care accordingly.
- Evaluate the urgency of patient presentations, escalating as necessary for emergency situations or deteriorating conditions.
- Display flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment, responding to changing circumstances with confidence and poise.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care activities tailored to each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
- Achieve desired clinical outcomes for patients through effective management and coordination of care.
- Provide health education and support to patients as required, promoting informed decision-making and self-care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 1 year of experience in triage within an emergency department, with a strong preference for candidates with 5 years' experience.
- Able to assess and recognize health deterioration, taking appropriate action to escalate care when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Capable of working autonomously, delegating tasks effectively when required, and demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
