About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Glazier or Glass Cutter to join our team at O'Brien Glass Industries Limited.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to efficiently cut custom glass by hand for planned jobs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Applying technical knowledge and practical skills to cut custom glass
  • Quality assurance of deliveries to ensure glass meets AS1288 standards
  • Reading and understanding blueprints to identify necessary work details
  • Coordinating warehouse functions and receiving, acknowledging, picking, preparing, and dispatching orders as required
  • Working as an active team member in the field when needed

About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Knowledge of AS1288 Glass in buildings
  • Understanding of glazing techniques and requirements
  • Experience cutting glass and attention to detail
  • Ability to use a computer and organize paperwork
  • Qualification in Glazing preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong eye for detail and great time management skills
  • Understanding and working knowledge of safety practices
