About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Administration Officer to join our team at Healthscope. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient-centred customer service and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide welcoming and professional service to patients, families, and visitors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information, including data collection, referrals, billing, and medical records processing.
  • Perform general administration duties, such as booking appointments, directing patient enquiries, and liaising with other hospital departments.
  • Arrange patient transport for discharge and inter-facility transfers.
  • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information by maintaining secure electronic records.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in an acute patient-focused healthcare facility or hospital.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Advanced computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • A track record of delivering outstanding customer service and experience.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
