About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our Construction and Infrastructure Practice Group. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our partners and other lawyers to provide expert advice to clients on a range of construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice to clients on construction and infrastructure projects, including procurement, contract administration, and dispute resolution.
  • Work closely with our partners and other lawyers to develop and implement strategies for clients.
  • Manage a file load autonomously, while delegating work tasks effectively to more junior solicitors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including ASX listed and large private developer clients, as well as government clients at Federal, State and Local levels.
  • Contribute to the development of our Construction and Infrastructure Practice Group, including identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow our client base.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of post-admission experience in construction law.
  • Demonstrated experience in front end construction, including procurement and contract administration.
  • Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to use plain English to explain complex legal concepts.
  • A 'can do' approach and a team player attitude.
  • A desire to develop your career and professional networks in the construction and infrastructure industry.
