Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Disability Support Professional to join our dedicated team in Rockhampton and surrounding suburbs. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of people with disabilities.
Job DescriptionThis role involves providing support within our Home Service, assisting individuals with disabilities to live as independently as possible. You will help people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting.
- Assisting with aspects of personal care where required to meet individual needs
- Supporting with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connection through socialising and outings
- Providing support during daily activities such as going for a walk, attending appointments, or engaging in leisure activities
- Helping individuals maintain connections with family, friends, and services
We offer a competitive salary package up to $$$60,000 per annum, along with various benefits including:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A true passion for supporting people with disabilities
- Patience, empathy, and resilience
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers
- The capacity to meet physical requirements, as some manual handling tasks may be involved
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Commitment to privacy and confidentiality
- Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) would be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Experience working with complex behaviours would be highly regarded
