Job Opportunity: Senior Audit Manager, Market Risk

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Audit Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in internal or external audit, risk management, and financial services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering audits across market, liquidity, and funding risks. This includes planning and executing audits, conducting process walkthroughs, drafting issues, and supervising junior team members.

This position also involves assisting in building a dynamic audit plan, participating in innovation processes, and coaching junior staff members to improve their skills.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will also need:

  • Risk modelling and validation experience covering traded and non-traded market risk models
  • Internal audit experience at an authorised deposit-taking institution or other financial services firm
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Actuarial Studies, Finance, Business, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in risk management or audit
