Physiotherapist Role

The role of a physiotherapist is to provide clinical services to individuals with various disabilities and health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of clients with physical impairments or disabilities.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve client outcomes.
  3. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  4. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
  5. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in physiotherapy.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in paediatrics, preferably in hospitals or private practice.
  • AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist.
  • Previous experience in worker's compensation or disability schemes is highly desirable.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
