Room Attendant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and physically capable individual to fill the role of Room Attendant. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain assigned rooms to ensure a welcoming and well-presented space for guests
  • Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with necessary amenities
  • Report any maintenance requirements or issues within guest rooms
  • Maintain and use equipment correctly to prevent damage or safety risks
  • Familiarize yourself with health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Able to work up to 30 hours per week on a rotating roster, including weekends
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Meticulous attention to detail, taking pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Physically capable of performing tasks that involve lifting, carrying, and moving equipment
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred, with hotel experience being an advantage
  • Possess current working rights in Australia
