About This Role

CBRE is the world's leading commercial real estate services and investment firm. We're seeking a highly skilled Facilities Management Specialist to join our Global Technology Client team.

Job Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced facilities management team within a corporate environment, based in Sydney CBD. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining facilities, coordinating repairs and maintenance, developing budgets, and providing exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Ensure facilities are well-maintained, clean, and safe for tenants and visitors.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee repairs, maintenance, and renovation activities.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for facility maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects.
  • Client Relations: Act as the main point of contact for clients regarding facility-related concerns.
  • Contractor and Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes/regulations.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years' experience in electrical/mechanical trades or engineering preferred, or technical experience in building services infrastructure.
  • Prior exposure to providing premium client service is an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of workplace Health & Safety requirements applicable to this role.
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly and autonomously.
  • Demonstrates organizational abilities by effectively handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and build effective professional relationships.
