About This Opportunity

We are seeking two experienced Finance Partners to join our finance advisory team supporting the Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Behavioural Sciences (HMBS). HMBS will merge with another faculty, creating a unified force for health research and education at UQ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial advice to chief investigators and leaders, helping them make informed decisions regarding cost management and optimal utilisation of grant funding.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships and act as a trusted financial advisor, managing the escalation of key client issues that require expertise, input and/or approval.
  • Apply financial processes, governance frameworks, and policy controls to ensure ongoing compliance with university and external regulations.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between the finance advisory and finance transaction services team, offering expertise on financial policy matters and enhancing team performance.
