Clinical Psychologist

This pivotal role for a confident and dynamic clinical psychologist is to join our expanding team. The successful candidate will work with individuals, couples, and families who are facing mental health challenges that impact their everyday lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting psychological assessments, therapy, and interventions for clients across the lifespan.
  • Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Providing crisis intervention and management as needed, ensuring client safety and well-being.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, adhering to compliance standards and procedures.
  • Participating in case discussions, continuous professional development, and contributing to the refinement of therapeutic programs and services.
  • Engaging with clients, stakeholders, and partner providers to foster strong relationships and continuity of care.
  • Representing the organization with professionalism, promoting its values and mission.
Requirements:
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing psychological therapy and interventions, preferably in a mental health setting.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to prioritize and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and other relevant technologies.
  • Leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and partner providers.
  • Strong therapeutic and clinical skills, with a demonstrated client-focused approach.
  • Experience in mental health operations and service delivery, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in psychological care and treatment, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
