Job Overview

Cover-More Group is seeking a highly skilled Investigations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to internal stakeholders regarding suspected unusual or suspicious claims, activity, or trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review claims referred to the Investigations team to determine whether further investigation is warranted.
  • Conduct investigations, including desktop investigations, using desktop computer resources, open source information, and conducting telephone interviews.
  • Refer and manage external investigation referrals, ensuring appropriate outcomes and minimizing investigation costs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers within company guidelines, regulatory obligations, and SLAs.
  • Collaborate and provide regular reporting and updates with key stakeholders across the Cover-More Group.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' investigations experience.
  • Experience interviewing persons suspected of suspicious activity and/or victims of crime.
  • Experience in the general insurance environment. Travel insurance specific experience is desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of insurance investigation practices and evidence collection.
  • Excellent attention to detail, planning, and strong administration skills.
  • Investigations or insurance-related qualifications are desired but not essential.
