About the TeamOur Transport and Infrastructure team is a collaborative and innovative group that leverages the latest technology to deliver sustainable connectivity, mobility, and resiliency to Australian communities.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Technical Executive/Senior Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the Overhead Wiring team in Queensland and shaping our national OHW strategy.
- Mentoring and developing junior engineers to cultivate and support our Engineers of tomorrow.
- Providing technical review of work performed by the team.
- Providing expert technical input to a diverse range of projects in line with our quality system and client requirements.
- Mentoring junior engineers in technical, project delivery, and client relationships.
- Providing expert input to pursuits and proposals.
We are looking for a proven leader in Overhead Wiring and Safety in Design with extensive years of experience (at Senior Engineer level as a minimum). You should have knowledge of establishing project quality and risk management systems, project communications integration systems, and a solid understanding of contracts and commercials as related to project delivery.
In addition, you should be:
- RPEQ qualified (or eligible to be so)
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering) or Equivalent
- Have Queensland Rail design and checker competencies
- Have proven and extensive experience in Overhead Wiring at Principal Engineer level or above, ideally at Consultancy level
