**Business Transformation Specialist**

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Finance Performance team in Energy & Utilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful business transformation initiatives and work with a collaborative team environment where ownership and continuous improvement are at the core of what we do.

As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting operational transformation projects that standardise operating models across multiple business support functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse processes, gather business requirements, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Document business processes, standardised definitions, and agreed solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Risk, and Operations to align outcomes.
  • Support solution design, testing, and implementation with Downer Digital and project teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication between business users and technical teams.
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in a business analyst or similar role, ideally within Energy & Utilities or complex industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex processes into clear solutions.
  • Experience in Finance, Commercial, and/or Risk environments.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, Power Query, Power Apps, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
