We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance and Engineering professional to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a contract position that will focus on ensuring the highest level of quality in construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support contractors in the preparation and timely submission of QA/QC documents, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Procedures (QCPs), and Material Receiving Reports (MARs).
  • Assist the functional supervisor in reviewing and approving Quality Management Systems (QMS), engineering, and procurement documents.
  • Ensure project QA/QC requirements are properly implemented at construction sites and at vendor/subcontractor facilities, in line with specifications and standards.
  • Organize and participate in Pre-Activity Review meetings, Quality walkthroughs, and weekly QA/QC coordination meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized university.
  • At least 15 years of experience in major Greenfield/Brownfield process plant construction in the Oil & Gas industry, including large-scale solar (Photovoltaic) projects.
  • Prior experience with major EPIC contractors or end-user organizations in a similar capacity, with full responsibility for QA/QC in piping and mechanical disciplines, including construction and commissioning activities.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC practices, testing requirements, and acceptance criteria for piping systems, rotating/static equipment, and related systems.
