Job Title: Network Operations Controller

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to oversee the daily operation of a complex network.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork experience in a challenging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily operation of the network to ensure optimal performance and minimal disruptions.
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate communication of flight information.
  • Monitor flights for On Time Performance (OTP) and accurately record and report delay reasons.
  • Monitor weather and NOTAMs that may impact operations and escalate or act on risks accordingly.
  • Develop and implement disruption plans to minimize passenger and operational impact in collaboration with other Network Operations Centre personnel.
  • Coordinate aircraft turnarounds in Sydney, including bay allocation and fuel ordering.
  • In the event of an emergency, initiate the company response plan and support the Emergency Response Team as directed.
  • Manage arrival slots through the Air Traffic Flow Management (ATFM) platform to minimize network delays.
  • Manage departure slots in Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) environments.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those prescribed in the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and applicable enterprise agreements.
  • Manage crew coverage in the event of sickness, operational disruption, or additional training requirements.
  • Manage crew positioning (paxing), accommodation, and meal entitlements.
  • Work with Rostering and Crew Planning teams to address training disruptions or additional qualification requirements.
  • Support the management of crewing-related disruptions as part of an integrated Network Operations response.
