Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, mentoring and inspiring your team to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results.
  • Coach and develop your team to achieve their full potential and drive business growth.
  • Lead from the front, providing an exceptional customer experience and creating a positive culture within the store.
  • Recruit, onboard, and induct high-calibre new team members to ensure a smooth transition and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage stock levels, ensuring accurate stock management and maintaining a high level of stock integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with pet care knowledge, products, and services to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Create a fun, supportive, and inclusive culture within the store, where team members love coming to work every day.
  • Proactively support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships to drive business growth and community engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar store leadership role or ready to take that next step up in your retail management career.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving business targets.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing team.
  • High degree of resilience and ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to create a positive culture of safety and well-being within the store.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Established business acumen and ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work conditions.
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills.
