Role Summary:
Aircraft Maintenance Specialists play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of remotely piloted aircraft. They utilize state-of-the-art equipment to diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems, performing pre-, thru- and postflight inspections along the way.
Responsibilities- Maintain aircraft, support equipment, forms, and records
- Perform routine checks on aircraft systems
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues on aircraft components
- Remove and install engine components
- Inspect for corrosion and identify areas for prevention and repair
While working in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in aircraft maintenance and operations. As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, you will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that aircraft are airworthy and ready for missions.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with principles of aircraft systems
- Completion of a National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit
- Basic Military Training completion
