Job Description

This role supports the execution of The Perth Mint's sustainability strategy, working across all business units to facilitate key initiatives and embed a sustainability mindset.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Implementing the sustainability strategy and broader strategic objectives, including community relationships, modern slavery, human rights, change management, and embedding sustainability culture and awareness
  • Developing and supporting the implementation of the social pillar within our sustainability strategy and framework
  • Providing strategic and technical advice to the business on responsible sourcing, human rights, stakeholder engagement, community relations, diversity and inclusion, Aboriginal cultural heritage, and relevant social factors
  • Developing social performance policies, systems, strategies, programs, and training to integrate social performance considerations into business decision-making
  • Coordinating the Sustainability & Environment Employee Resource Group, modern slavery working group, and other relevant forums to support the implementation of initiatives under the social pillar of the sustainability framework
  • Maintaining and implementing the Sustainability stakeholder communication and engagement plan, including the upkeep of the internal and external Sustainability website
Requirements

We Are Seeking A Candidate With:

  • Tertiary qualification in social performance, social planning, impact, community development, communications, social science, or a relevant discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sustainability and/or social performance positions
  • A strong track record of delivering social actions and outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience with sustainability reporting standards such as SDGs and GRI
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage project timelines, and contribute to continued productivity improvements

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
