The Role

As a Casual Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Surprising and delighting our customers with consistent and delicious food offerings.
  • Maintaining accurate department signage and pricing to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Stocking and cleaning shelves, frozen and dairy cases to maintain a clean and appealing display.
  • Maintaining back stock in good order to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised working and shopping environment.
  • Assisting with food crew sampling programs to keep sample areas full, clean, and appealing.
  • FOLLOWING and COMPLYING with all applicable health and safety procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • An outgoing and bubbly personality willing to engage with customers.
  • A team player attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability to work across 7 days.
