Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled User Experience Designer to join our team at Randstad. As a User Experience Designer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering exceptional user experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Research: Conduct research to identify insights and create a common understanding of user needs and behaviors.
  • Service Design: Co-create and document current state services through design research to identify current participant and staff experience, and business processes.
  • Process Design: Co-create and facilitate process design improvements to enhance user experiences.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the voice and experience of participants and stakeholders.
  • Design Thinking: Facilitate design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test the future service (processes, channels, experiences).
  • Ecosystem Understanding: Understand the complex Agency ecosystem and change impacts.
  • Service Experience: Ensure that the end-to-end service experience is based around participant and staff need, in line with the Digital Service Standard and is consistent for all users across different touchpoints.
  • Solution Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level.
  • Team Support: Provide support to maintain governance requirements within the Scheme Reform Program.
  • Reporting: Provide consistent, timely reporting that meets the established cadence.
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship: Australian Citizenship is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience in working in multi-disciplinary agile teams across varied skillsets on large projects.
  • Service Design: Experience in service design including developing service design artefacts.
Desirable Criteria
  • Disability Experience: Prior knowledge and experience in disability, social services or public sector is desirable.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience with Jira, Sharepoint, MS Suite, Creately (or comparable design tools i.e. Miro, Mural) and Qualtrics (or comparable design tools i.e. Dovetail, Condens) is desirable.
