Ryde, Australia beBeeQualityControl Full time $90,000 - $115,000

Quality Control Analysts play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of products. We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Analyst to join our lab.

About the Job

This is not a routine job. You will be responsible for owning your test plans, ensuring timely releases, and investigating discrepancies when they occur.

  • Manage sampling, calibrate and maintain equipment, and ensure that lab documentation is compliant with regulations.
  • Work in a GMP environment with strict oversight, where compliance and data integrity are essential.

Expect to collaborate closely with other lab professionals, contribute to continuous improvement, and maintain a clean, compliant, and efficient lab environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who can identify problems, implement solutions, document them properly, and leave the system improved.

  • Hold a science degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharm Sci, or a related field that demonstrates understanding of molecular-level processes.
  • Have experience working in a GMP-regulated QC lab in Pharma, Biotech, or Animal health.
  • Be proficient in maintaining compliance without hindering operations.

You should be able to operate HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and FTIR instruments independently. Test for pH, conductivity, osmolality, titration, and LOD, and understand the significance of these results.

Have worked under APVMA, TGA, or FDA regulations and have successfully implemented ALCOA principles. If you have used LIMS platforms like Lab Ware or STARLIMS, or if you haven't, you'll quickly adapt. And if you've trained others or revised SOPs? That's a bonus.
