Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Specialist

The role of Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Specialist is available in a reputable health organization.

About the Role:

This is a permanent full-time position, working 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon as possible. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and implementing local and integrated quality, improvement, and patient safety programs aligned with organisational needs and current best practices.

  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives that meet organisational needs and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement safe and effective health systems and models of care.
  • Participate in relevant training, supervision, and professional development activities to maintain expertise in quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care in line with RHH's clinical standards.

Eligibility criteria include clinical registration and/or health service management experience, extensive experience managing and leading complex teams, experience and/or certification in Quality Improvement and/or Accreditation, relevant professional qualifications aligned with industry safety standards, and a current Driver's Licence.
