Job Summary

This part-time opportunity involves working with clients in the region to assist them in achieving their goals and improving their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical assessments and treatment of physical and neurological conditions to enable individuals to live independently and safely.
  • Assessment and prescription of aids and equipment to enhance mobility and access to daily living activities.
  • Environmental assessments and home modifications to minimize the risk of falls and improve accessibility.
  • Assessment of clients' mobility and control when moving in their environments to ensure their safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • A current Police Screening Certificate to verify your suitability for working with vulnerable populations.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to ensure you meet the necessary standards for professional practice.
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check) to demonstrate your commitment to safeguarding children and adults at risk.
  • A current Queensland driver's licence to facilitate travel between work locations.
  • First Aid and CPR certification to equip you with essential skills for emergency response situations.
  • Proof of immunity or willingness to become vaccinated against Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), and Pertussis (Whooping Cough) to protect yourself and others from preventable diseases.
