Lycopodium Limited is a leading provider of professional engineering and project delivery services globally. We are currently recruiting for a Project Management Engineer - Senior to join our team in Perth.

As a Project Management Engineer - Senior, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance in the planning, designing, evaluating, executing and handover of assigned projects. This includes ensuring compliance with project specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards.

The tasks you'll perform

  • Scheduling and forecasting: Contribute to project control activities, including scheduling, forecasting and other deliverables to a consistently high standard.
  • Procurement and inspection: Assist with and perform procurement, inspection and expediting activities.
  • Site engineer duties: Carry out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, in a manner that prioritizes safety, environment, community and industrial relations.
  • Quality management: Assist the Project Manager in developing and maintaining the project quality management facility to ensure project quality targets and reporting are met.
  • Tender and contract documentation: Contribute to the preparation of construction reports, contracts and schedules, managing tender and contract documentation for review in accordance with quality assurance.

We estimate an annual salary of approximately $145,000 AUD for this position, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The expertise you'll bring

  • Bachelor of Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering.
  • Min 7 years' postgraduate experience in a similar position, ideally within an EPCM environment.
  • Experience working on Mineral Processing Plants or similar capital projects will be highly regarded.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including Clients, Vendors and Co-workers.
  • Proactively seek and accept guidance and feedback provided by subject matter experts.
  • Determination and drive to achieve objectives through continued professional development.
