This project is part of the Snowy Scheme's history, aiming to provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for generations to come.

Purpose of the Role:

  • To develop and review high voltage electrical designs, monitoring and maintenance of electrical quality management systems, procurement of electrical materials, order tracking and expediting with suppliers, and technical support for project engineering queries.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science, majoring in Electrical Engineering
  • Engineers Australia Membership
  • White Card
  • C Class Drivers' License

Experience:

  • Proven expertise as an electrical engineer, preferably with experience using design and calculation software.
  • Extensive experience in tunnelling construction or industrial engineering, typically 2+ years of experience.
  • Experience working on major infrastructure construction operations of similar scale with a proven ability to operate in dynamic environments.

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Introduction to plant and equipment organization and interface management between disciplines in the project.
  • Review and understand electrical schematics for construction of plant and equipment.
  • Drafting of electrical schematics, designing of electrical systems, and providing technical support for project-wide electrical queries.
