We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. This exciting opportunity will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely payment of our employees.

The Role

This fixed-term contract position is available for 12 months and offers a unique chance to contribute to the success of our business. You will be responsible for administering employee/employer deductions, contributions, and benefits, while also managing employee records and transfers.

As a Junior Payroll Specialist, you will work closely with our payroll leaders to ensure compliance with legislative, award, and enterprise agreement guidelines. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail will enable you to provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Ideal experience working in a high-volume payroll function, preferably within a retail environment.
  • Experience with PayGlobal or Empower payroll systems is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including V-lookups and formulas.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer service ethos.
