We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team at St Louis on Sea, a luxury home on the Esplanade at Victor Harbor.
About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will work under the guidance of our Dementia Care Specialist and be part of a client-focused team. You will engage with our clients in daily living activities, including personal care, domestic duties, meals, social activities, and community participation.
We encourage applicants with flexibility to work night shifts.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A person-centred approach to supporting people in their daily living.
- Experience working with people with dementia or disability, particularly those with complex behaviours.
- Reliability and flexibility to work across a range of shifts.
Essentials:
- Covid-19 and Flu 2024 Vaccination and ongoing boosters are required.
- National Police Clearance (no more than 2 years old).
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Disability.
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
