Mental health professionals play a vital role in promoting recovery for clients with various mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Risk assessments and crisis response planning to ensure client safety
- Implement professional record-keeping practices, adhering to relevant legislation and industry codes of ethics
- Liaise effectively with external services, including general practitioners and other healthcare professionals
- Registration as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and possession of a practicing certificate
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical practice and therapeutic interventions within the mental health field
A dedicated mental health clinician will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, sound problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
